The picture doesn't do this guy justice. 7lbs and had no intentions of being caught. He grabbed some "sticky bait" and ran. Great fun.

This nice 4lb Drum gave me a battle. Caught in a new spot by 78 highway on the Little Blue.

I thought Aidan had a snag when pulling on this guy, but he kept saying, "No Uncle Cal, its a fish!!!" Sure enough, he hauled this nice 4lb Drum out of the Little Blue River all on his own.

My nephew Aidan caught this nice Channel Cat to get 2nd place in a fishing contest in Blue Springs with his dad, Jeff. Shortly after this pic, we had LUNCH...

Fortunately, this 4lb drum didn't mind a little rain. Pretty fish - he went back to be caught another time... Note the large extra dorsal fin, much like the Red Drum we catch on the TX coa ...
